Third National Workshop

The workshop aimed at enhancing the capacity of local stakeholders for the implementation of CDM projects in Sao Tome and Principe.
Main objective of the workshop were:
- Create awareness among stakeholders on the current status of
the carbon market and the Clean Development Mechanism in Sao Tome
and Principe.
- Showcase the work being done on the capacity building project
ACP MEAS CD4CDM, and
- Introduce the new and emerging CDM modalities and procedures,
intended to enhance the regional distribution of CDM.
